In response to the growing public health challenges posed by chronic diseases at present, this study puts forward the ecological co-creation design theory based on ecological dynamics and applies it to the optimized design of physical activity spaces. Through the integration of multiple disciplines, this theory explores the dynamic interactions between individuals and the environment and proposes a series of innovative design methods, including strategies such as adaptive environment design, personalized experience design, and the integration of social and cultural elements. The results of experimental verification demonstrate that the ecological co-creation design effectively increases the utilization rates and user satisfaction of community and campus sports spaces and significantly enhances the participation and behavioral enthusiasm of residents and students in physical activities. Moreover, case studies further verify the improvement effects of the design on the vitality and ecological value of the fitness trail systems in urban parks. This research provides new theoretical support and practical strategies for sustainable health engineering, while emphasizing the importance of interdisciplinary cooperation and long-term effect evaluation. This paper lays a foundation for the development in the field of health engineering and proposes key directions for future research and practice.
